Simple, straightforward, and works as advertised! The set up was simply to connect to USB port. It took one or two reboots before Windows 11 would fully recognize it, but after that, everything went smoothly.

The drive is sleek and compatible with my HP Pavilliion laptop. USB connection makes it easy to attach and the lightweightness makes it easy to transport. Good value for the money.

A nicely assembled DVD drive, although a bit on the flimsy side. In that respect it's very similar to the ones that used to be built-in to laptops. I simply bought a protective case for inside my laptop backpack, and for the price, it can't be beat. Imho. It plays and burns music CD's, and it plays movie DVD's (I use different software than what came with the drive). Haven't burned a DVD yet, but there isn't any reason to suspect it won't do as well, given the aforementioned. Good price. Does a great job. Yes, I'd recommend it and buy it again if needed. Get a case!

Very simple to use. Worked perfectly on the first try. Very compact and easy to fit in computer case. Great value for the money.

Bought a new laptop that did not have a DVD. Rarely need one, but this was on sale for about 1/2 price and is a quality product. Have some older software on a disc and also load music CDs sometimes. Is plug and play.

Item is fine, but seems like disk plate need more support. Securing a CD/DVD gives me a sense of insecurity because I'm afraid the ray will break off. Just makes me a little nervous.

I've been a Dell fan for years. They always perform as expected, and are long lasting. This one seems to be of the same quality.
