Chose a different program other than the one that came with the drive. Works just as I need it to.

Simple straight forward plug and play drive. Works well and is reasonably priced. Haven't really used the included software so I can't comment on that.

Simple plug and play w/ low profile and lightweight; use 100% to play dvd's. My computer has dvd drive – but this external drive sits nicely on my desk for easy access and repeated daily use. Great for price.

I am enjoying my cd/dvd player. Once I updated my car, there was no cd player. I thoroughly enjoy hearing my favorite hits again as well as watching DVDs. Screen and volume are excellent!

This helped me download all my previously purchased programs onto my new desktop. It works great and was easy to setup. It is a little noisier than a built in disk drive. It is very light.

Gets the job done, maybe a bit noisy but no more than other CD readers I have used. The software is definitely aging, however using it for burning audio CDs has been straightforward and it is nice that it comes with it. Definitely would have bought something cheaper though, but needed it same day so I couldn't go on amazon. This technology is basically maxed out so there's probably no reason to spend more than $15 or $20.

I bought this drive because my new pc did not have a built in drive. It is very simple to hook up and set up. There is one cable to hook up, the usb cable, which provides power for the drive as well. The cd that came with drive was simple to install the software. I have used the drive extensively downloading music to my computer and it has functioned wonderfully.

The perfect addition for my brand new Dell laptop. The DW316 has a sleek design and provides the much needed ability to write to an external disk for transport of information from one place to another or for long term storage. Best Buy made it very inexpensive to own.

I've owned Dell products for years, but my new computer dosen't have a DVD/CD option. I'm a little old school and have a lot of data on DVDs. This drive is plug and play, no hassles. Works great and was affordable.

This is a well priced external DVD/ RW Drive. It's very lightweight and slim so easily portable. I purchased this item as my new laptop did not have a DVD drive and it functioned perfectly.

Don't use it often but it connects to my Dell Latitude 5290 2-in-1 easily and works just like it supposed to work. Nice smell and compact and fits nicely in laptop sleeve for easy transportation.
