DRIVER NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 11
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This DVD external drive is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 11 . If you try to operate this drive with the included Cyberlink disc as the driver - it will not work! Had to pay another $40 in addition to the $40 drive price for a total of $80 to get up and running. Geek squad had to use the VLC media player to get it to work.

They prefer Dell brand products. I purchased this so they could play videos on their desktop. This is a USB 2.0 device so I expect it to burn disks slower than a USB 3.x optical drive. Using the drive it does the job but feels a bit flimsy compared to the ASUS external optical drives I have purchased in the past at a similar price.
