    Since I bought a new Dell Laptop and it did not have a DVD player, I did a research in what is in the Market. I was gladly surprised that DELL makes a DVD External prayer. It is my experience that if you need anything - computer - laptop or any external drive, consider DELL...the top in quality and price

    Works great for everything except I needed to download a 3rd Party app to play commercial DVDs. The drive comes with an app that was supposed to play most DVDs, but it didn't support the necessary file type. It was adequate for my primary need was to manage files replacing the failed onboard disk drive on my laptop.
