Wouldn't work with my iMac

It seemed it was going to work, but failed to read or write cd's/dvd's. After multiple attempts and researching Dell online support, I returned the item.

Purchased this one as we need to be able to access disks. Seems fine so far. Originally purchased an Open Box item that was rated Excellent, but it would not read the disk. Drive had been manufactured 2 years ago. Not sure why that one did not work.
