Good for a few months

NO WARRANTY per Dell when I called. Thank goodness I just used rewards points for this purchase. I won't be buying any more Dell products.

I returned it and purchased an Apple Super Drive which works with my MacBook Pro. Now I have all Apple devices together.

It was a couple of dollars more than the LG after comparison shopping, but I bought it because I know Dell makes quality products. It was also heavier than the LG models and I assumed that maybe meant more sound dampening. It was definitely quiet.
