Purchased Dell computer without DVD capabilities so ordered this. Works great and was at a great price! Good rating because its new and have not used it very much to date.

found an old dvd i made when i was a kid but no devices i own have a dvd player so i ran over to best buy to pick up this drive and it was a blast to the past and very much worth the small price, now i feel compelled to try making dvd's just because i can. the program it comes with is super helpful!

I have only had this for a few weeks, but it is a great addition to my laptop. It is small enough to keep in my laptop's case so I can take it with me. Works great.

I purchased this Dell Drive to work with my Dell 13.5 Inspiron. Inexpensive and fast. I use it to download product software from my camera and it's accessories. Works flawlessly.

Nice inexpensive external dvd drive used on laptop. Drive is small enough to fit in any size case without taking up much room. Able to read or burn cdroms or dvds.

Bought this for a few of my laptops which don't have a DVD player. This is compact, lightweight and very portable unit. For the price it was well worth it.

Plug it in, load a disk, do what you need to do - just like an internal cd drive. Reads movies, music and programs. I didn't intend to use it to write to cds, so I can't speak to that. Does everything I need it to do, very happy with it.

Great way to view DVD's and CDs with no ports available on a Mac. This solves the problem.

It’s worked great for my needs so far. I have been able to get old photos off of burned dvds and Blu-ray’s.
