Since laptop computers do not come with a cd/dvd drive, this is a must item to get. Now able to load disc that I purchased over the past years. Easy to connect and to use.

Love it! It does exactly what I needed it to do, and it is extremely easy to use. I have hundreds of old CDs that I've been wanting to put into my iTunes library, but my computer does not have an internal cd drive. (You know, because most don't anymore.) This little guy did the trick, and I got it on sale, so the cost was great!

Seems like a fragile product, but has been a solid performer for a few months. For the price, it has been a good value.

Really don't like that these are not standard in computers anymore but love this Plug and Play DVD+/RW Drive. It is easy to use and does the job.

I needed a way to handle DVD burning and reading. This DVD handles all my needs from outside the laptop. However, you do not have the extra weight by having it in the laptop when you do not need it.

I purchased this external DVD/CD drive with my new laptop since it doesn't have one of its own. Call me old-fashioned, but I'm not a fan of having a computer with no CD drive. I mostly use it to play older games that aren't available through download engines like Steam and Battle.net. It's well worth the 40 bucks for me.

I did need to down load a DVD reader for some DVD's but there are many low cost options available. I find this unit very easy to attach to my computer when needed and have had no problem with it working. I recommend this unit if you're looking for a basic DVD player!

Love this machine if you need a cd player. With most new laptops there is no cd rom in them, so I'm still a little old school and need one at times, but I just bought a new laptop that doesn't have it installed, I decided to get one, and sure enough I have used it a few times already, and really love it. its quiet and fast and when I have done what I need with it, I put it away back in box and in desk till the next time.

DVD drive, easy to use!!! Our 12 year old computer crashed a while ago so went to Best Buy to get a new one. New computers don't come with CD/DVD drives anymore, we didn't know This is so easy to just plug into the new computer and now I can view all my pictures again.
