    Nice little DVD drive. Plugged it into my Dell notebook and away I went. No muss, no fuss, no nothing actually. Totally painless. The drive is powered through the USB connection, so only one cord to connect. Goes about it's job quietly and quickly, which is everything you could ask for in one of these. I haven''t tried burning a DVD yet, but for my use it is great.

    surprised to see on sale ,, and of course my dell laptop does not come with a cd/dvd so this is marriage made in heaven ,,, plus bb reward made this a better best buy deal of the day

    Exchanged this portable CD/DVD drive for the LG - 8x External Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW SuperMulti Blade Drive in silver to match my silver HP laptop. Like it so much better how the CD inserts inside the drive versus a tray to set the CD on and then close the tray. Very quick and easy to use. Have yet to burn a CD with it. Main use has been for loading programs and music into laptop.
