I had to get this to do work and I was so thankful Best Buy had these. Easy plug and use

I’ve had no problems with this disc drive since my purchase. It works really great for me to download games and other programs on my computer. I’ve been able to commute with it and I would say it is very portable. Thanks Dell for another great item to go with my laptop.

The Dell external DVD drive is light and very portable. It has good speed and I would recommend.

My CD drive in my desktop stopped working and I wanted to back up my large CD collection before getting rid of them. I looked for an inexpensive replacement, and was surprised that the Dell model that I found was at such a low price. Does the job perfectly, as expected.

I purchased this unit solely due to the desktop computer I recently purchased didn't have a DVD player installed. I needed this player to install various software programs onto the hard drive and this unit worked nicely for that purpose. I have yet to test it with other uses it is designed for.

This Dell DVD/RW drive is a great product at a great price.

There isn't much to say about the Dell-USB Slim DVD+/-RW Drive. If you need an optical drive this will work very well. It's pretty much plug-and-play and works well.

The tray like most these devices is little sketchy. It does get caught up/jammed but eventually closes and opens snuggly. The actual device plays well and is generally quiet and smooth. Good product overall for the price. No complaints beyond open/close tray; which seems pretty much same on all models of this type of device.

Excellent opportunity to expand my laptop. I'd forgotten how much I missed this function.

I needed a USB plug and play DVD/RW drive to plug into my new laptop and this Dell slim drive filled the bill. Although it feels a little flimsy when handling it, that is just the way it is with slim drives. Disks can easily be inserted or ejected.

So far so good. I have used this item very sparingly at this point. In a year or so I will know more.

Works perfectly fine. If you need a dvd drive this’ll do the job.

Product ready when promised. Works as advertised. I was told I could get a receipt by scanning the QR code on the label but I couldn't. Using a QR scanner and my camera only resulted in my getting a picture of the QR emblem.

I wish that the laptop i got had a disc drive but glad that i could buy this external one as some things are still on discs. But easy to hook up.

I needed an external cd/dvd player for the computer that I bought. So I got this one. It works, the only complaint is that it is a little noisy. I am not familiar with very many external cd/dvd players, but I think it could a lot quieter.

Good drive for the $$. Easy set up. Basically plug and play

Did not by this item as my new computer came with a DVD. The return of this item was simple and easy.
