This drive has been added to many others that we use as well as the computer HD. We have had this drive for a couple of years and it works without issue.

Works great. Plug and play. Fast loading. Use it to load imaging studies on my laptop.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I still have multi CD's and not only can i copy but I can play them straight from my laptop. Works well with my Dell laptop.

Bought this because my laptop doesn't have a CD drive. I'm old school and still like playing CD music--especially older music--and transferring the files to my phone. This EDD does exactly what I need it to do and it was a great price. Thanks, Best Buy!

A very good disc drive for cd, cd games and dvd movies you want to used on the laptop

I use my computer with embroidery files for my embroidery machine and have some earlier designs that are on CD and wanted to be able to still use them. Unfortunately, not many new laptops have the drive. When I told the salesman, he suggested this.

WORKS AS INTENDED AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. i KNOW THERE IS NOT MUCH OF A NEED FOR THESE ANYMORE, BUT i DO LIKE MY OLD pc PUZZLE GAMES AND THIS DRIVE MAKES IT easy to play the disc I already own rather than buying a new disc.

I purchased this for my son’s computer, that does not have a drive or place to install one. Most everything these days come as a download or on a USB but when you really need a disk drive but, when you need a disk drive this on e performs great.

This is a great device to use with my laptop. It is a little noisy, but not as bad as some other ones. It seems to work well so far and hope it continues to do so. I do recommend it.

Even though it didn't specifically come with bluray software - only with something called a BD advisor - the Cyberlink PowerDVD software can play blurays, thankfully. The only issue I seem to have now is that my computer doesn't always recognize the drive as plugged in when I start up, so I have to sometimes unplug and replug it to get the drive recognized. Otherwise, I haven't had a problem.

This was exactly what I needed for the laptop I purchased. I wanted to be able to install software off of a cd and this was just what I needed. Since some laptops don't come with a disk drive included this is a easy to use fix to adapt those laptops that don't include a disk drive.

In the process of decluttering some rooms, we changed some of the electronics in the house. This laptop is replacing one that was at least 6 years old that had seen better days. I am very pleased with the one we purchased. It is sufficient for everything that I need one for.

This Dell USB Slim DVD/RW Drive is the best; and, compact enough to fit securely in on the desk with still plenty of space remaining.. Who could ask for more!!
