Works great for those programs or games or movies that are still on CD or DVD. Nice to have since most of the computers nowadays don't come with them installed.

My new laptop did not come with a cd/dvd drive and I needed one to install software and burn cd's. It was easy to install and use and the cd/dvd burning software that came with it was a bonus.

This was very easy to use. Just plug it in to the computer and start using. Worth the money. I am happy with this purchase.

Bought to load SW on the new laptop that did not have a drive. A good option by the way. Don't need to lug around the drive for the life of the laptop when it will only be used for a little loading when the laptop is new. Drive works very well. Happy

Most of today's labtops don't have cd drives. This portable cd drive is a godsend that gives you the power to use your CDs and DVDs without breaking a sweat.

Comes in very handy since most computers do not have CD/DVD drives any more. Since they probably won't do that anymore, I'm very happy to be able to buy one and use it for my work.

This is a great external DVD drive and very easy to use. It truly is a plug and play. It requires no external power source. The visual and audio quality is also very good.

I was a little surprised when my new laptop did not have a slot to read a dvd for new software. This inexpensive reader solved my problem. It is very light weight and very easy to use.

I miss internal CD/Internal drives. However, this product does the job. I am a bit old school. While I will download software and so on, I also like the option of using disks to install software or play movies or music. This product does the job.
