Seems to work good. Needed it for our new gaming computer we built, but that doesn't come with a dvd drive and I have a few programs that need to be downloaded via the DVD, so this works. This one had faster read and write speeds than the others for a great price so I went with it.

My old laptop had an internal disc drive so I had to buy this when I bought a new laptop. I've only used it once and it worked fine. I'm not sure if I'm going to like the software that came with it.

External is quite and very easy to use. I would recommend this product if your PC doesn't come with an Internal Optical Drive.

Bought a gaming computer with a built in cd player. Didn't want to tear it down to install a internet cd drive, plus you can use it on other devices.
