    I recently purchased a new PC after the one I had for 7 yrs. played out! It had a DVD tray built into the PC. I was devastated to find that those are no longer available on newer models of personal computers. Thrilled when I found this external one to plug in to new computer.

    Bought this for my DELL Inspiron 15 laptop which didn't come with a CD/DVD drive since I needed to install software from a disc. Works great, although it is a bit noisy as other reviewers have mentioned.
