    Giving this item 4 stars since I had to return it. For whatever reason I couldn’t get my MacBook Air to recognize it. Would have given it 5 stars but didn’t get to use the dvd drive.

    I purchased a new dell laptop. I always create a system image on a disc in case of any system problems. Since the laptop did not include an optical drive, I purchased the Dell stand alone drive. It has done everything I needed it to do and the cost was very reasonable.
