Worked well right out of the box. I especially like the small footprint - It just tucks out of the way until needed.

I bought a new computer without a dvd drive so i purchased this with it. I thought it would be a plug and play. You apparently need to download a program to watch dvds. I will have to research it a little bit to find what is the best.

An excellent little add-on device to my new computer for playing the many DVD's I have in my collection.

This device for the most part sat. But after my son died it allowed for us to transfer the pictures we got of him to print. Definitely a life saver.

It's slow and noisy but will get the job done if you are on a budget. I put in a drawer and purchased a better unit.

This little DVD player works great. I use it for safety classes as most laptops don't have DVD players built in.

Great for computers and chrome books to watch movies since the new computers do not have a cd drive you can use it to install programs into your computer.

I am pleased with the disc drive. The slim size fits nicely on the base of my computer and the black color blends in. The price was great, too.

We spent $20 on this to go with a new HP laptop for $199 and saved over $100 on one that would be built in. Only used for data transfer so well worth the savings!

I would rather have the DVD slot built into the laptop, but this is an OK alternative. I've used it once and it seems to work. It is not all that well made and must be used with care to make sure you don't break it. Also, the connection cord is a bit short.

I like it. It is a DVD player. I have always liked Dell products.

At first it was a little hard to figure it out but come to realize that it was my laptop since I didn’t have the DVD player download to my laptop

I have tried to set it up and I did not succeed. I have not had an opportunity to use it so I have not taken the time to search for the help to get the product to work correctly. I feel it is very cheaply made of a plastic material.
