I needed this for a show I had DVDs for and wanted to watch on my computer. It worked really well for that. But it’s not quite “plug and play” . There is some necessary set up that must be completed, and even my not so Tech Savvy self was able to get that done! It easily plugged into a USB port.

I needed an inexpensive drive to run some operating system installation programs on a couple of computers I built. I didnt want to spend a ton of money, this was perfect. It's small and portable, and plays everything I need. Plugs right into usb drive. A great solution for what I needed. Can also play dvd's!

Bought this drive for a new xps and it works just as advertised. Made the ease and installation of programs quick and painless, disk burning speed not bad, price point not bad.

So far the product I s performing as expected. Good overall for the price.

My new laptop does not have a cd drive and i needed on for software that I only have access to on a cd disc. This is a very affordable and super easy to use option. I highly reccommend to any looking for an external drive to play and/or burn discs.

Works great. Was surprised how well it just worked. I've had problems in the past. All ways enjoy something I don't have to learn a bunch of stuff just to get going.

While the small computers are great to handle and use, there seems to always be times you need to have a physical drive for those pesky disks that inevitably are needed. This drive is a plug and play unit that is inexpensive enough and light enough to just toss in the bag and have at hand when you need it.

I purchased this due to getting a new laptop. All the new ones don't have a cd drive. I needed to transfer all of my music from cd's and this little unit did just that. Reasonable price and worked great!

This tool comes in very handy for making and sharing family videos!

This will definitely be an asset if your computer doesn't have a disk drive. I purchased it because of having so many old photos on disc. When I used it I felt like I needed to be careful of the drawer, it's a bit light weight. But for how inexpensive the product is, it is what I expected. Over all it works great for my needs.

Love the cd-dvd drive! Super amazing and the price is awesome! I recommend and would repurchase! No doubt about it! Purchased the item online then picked it up from a local Best Buy. It was an easy process. The drive is packaged nicely & it's super slim and portable! Comes with a USB port for connection.

The DVD player is exactly fulfills my needs with my new laptop which does not have a DVD player

Good deal on the sale price. Representatives helped me choose the right DVD=/-RW Drive to suit my new HP laptop and it works amazing. Most new laptops do not come with this anymore, thus having to add it myself. Thank You.

Purchased the Dell DW316 drive from Best Buy. The drive was absolutely plug and play. Doesn't take up much space at all on my desk. Works as advertised. Very satisfied!
