Plug and play on my win11 alienware Loaded a office dvd with no issues

Didn’t get a DVD drive with my new computer and this dvd burner works great for everything I need to do

Works as intended. The included disk isn't necessary and has issues with Windows 11, so just ignore it.

Its a DVD - CD writer it works as expected. Nice to have since most computers are not incorporating with their build. The software provided is a trial version and not fully functional. Just use Windows to burn or use it, that is all that is required it is plug and play.

Works as it should. It’s a great buy as a lap top add on.

Purchased the item as my disk drive in Gateway computer no longer will read disks. Very easy to use, just plug into computer USB and play, no program downloading/syncing needed.

Purchased this sometime ago for obvious usage since most computers are not equipped with them. Great value and much higher from Dell.

First off, this is an entry level drive, so if you're looking for Blu-ray or fast write times, look elsewhere. I bought it to add software to my desktop, as manufacturers just aren't building disk drives into desktops as standard issue anymore. It is light plastic; not sure it would survive a drop from distance. With the expectation of a basic drive it performs fairly well. Biggest "con" is that the cord that comes out of the box is extremely short.
