External is quite and very easy to use. I would recommend this product if your PC doesn't come with an Internal Optical Drive.

Since most new laptops don't come standard with a CD/DVD RW drive built in I was searching for an external drive. This was easy to setup and works great.

Computer didn't come with built in DVD players. Used to actually burn CD's for competitions and shows for high school. Also plays DVD's and CD's without problems. Only downfall? Mine didn't come with any instructions, so good thing already knew how to use and connect to computer.

I bought this to install a game I received as a gift because I did not have a disk drive in my pc. This was a very convenient option that allowed me to achieve my goal without having to install and connect an internal disk drive.

This is doing as it should. I would purchase again

Music! I have a wonderful collection of music on CDs. My new laptop does not have a disk slot. I love this plugin player!

Bought a gaming computer with a built in cd player. Didn't want to tear it down to install a internet cd drive, plus you can use it on other devices.

This external drive was really easy to connect to my laptop and use. My laptop came without a drive and I can’t add one so this was the best alternative.

The item purchased was needed to add to the laptop that was purchased. It works well and enjoy being able to play games.

I often borrow DVDs from my library, and this little player is great for watching movies on my laptop. It is lightweight and has seen some abuse (oops, it fell to the floor...more than once!) but performs perfectly regardless. Very sturdy and reliable for my needs.

I got this because my all in one pc didn’t have a cd drive (guess it wasn’t all in one ha) but this item is amazing for the price

I didn't realize until I brought the two Computers home, since I purchased to identical PCs; But that is when I realized that there was no DVD Drive on the Computer, so I had to go back to Best Buy and purchase an External DVD Drive.

It’s not the fastest, but it’s not the slowest. It works for using with my HP 2 in 1, and it does what I need it to do. It’s not as loud as the older Samsung I had that it replaced. Does what I need it to do.

It is important to me to be able to burn CD's and since the new Dell laptops no longer have that built in I found this to be a simple way to take care of that.
