Purchased a desktop without a optical drive. This was priced perfectly. Easy to setup and use. No complaints so far.

With today's new laptops that don't have an optical drive, this drive is a must. I am very satisfied. The drive works exactly as described. I highly recommend.

The DVD drive died on my HP laptop so I bought this external on to replace it. It worked great. It is quiet and fast and is a great replacement.

It does what I want it to. Was worried it would read old pc games but it does.

Bought this for my new Dell Laptop. Works great. Keep in mind this unit does not play Blue-Ray.

Light enough to carry with my new Asus 13.3 laptop the salesperson said it would only work with PC computers. I used it to install some old software on CDs it worked well and also transferring music from CDs worked well too.

Plug and Play! I installed it from the CD that it came with and that was all I needed to do. Great Product.

The external drive works pretty well for the money. On occasion it wants to be a little stubborn and not automatically pop up on screen. However, I usually eject and reinsert the disc and it works.

Great device is compatible with my computer to read discs. Highly recommended if you don't have a drive on your laptop

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have a Dell so perhaps that was why it was so easy to install, burns quickly and seems to read most formats

Great item to have for your laptop or desktop. Never know when you will need to use or burn a cd. Reasonable price.

This DVD player works great and there are no drivers to install. I use this instead of adding an internal dvd.

I have used external DVD drives before, and usually had quite a difficult time using them. This is so easy; literally plug and play.

I recently purchased this Dell - 8x External USB DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive and have had no issues using it. It was pretty much plug-n-play on my windows 10 laptop.

I needed a DVD drive and my new PC case didn't have a bay for it, so an external one solved my problem. easy to use!@

Inexpensive add on to computer I was surprised did not have a DVD drive. Just hookup as you need it plug and play.

It gets the job done and was well worth the reasonable price. Optical drive that was built into my laptop died. This one is both powered and interfaces via a USB port. Interface is slightly slower than the original drive. Now that modern laptops are no longer equipped with optical drives, the device has a future in my household as well.

This was just what I needed. It was a simple plug and play to read my X-rays disk. I’ll use it to play some old CDs as well.
