This is a friendly user external DVD/CD-RW drive. It's slim so it's a nice small unit. I used it several times to play an old family CD, but I will be using it for storing photos on a CD as well.

Purchased this Dell USB DVD+/-RW drive as an accessory for my new Dell Laptop to play movies and to burn backup files. Installation was very simple, just plug & play. Unit is very lightweight & compact. Easy to store. Have only used for a few weeks, so far it reads CDs and DVDs just fine. Would purchase again.

It was quite easy to get up and running so I could use some of my CDs which is why I bought it. Also if I buy some program now I can just load it on the DVD player and get it onto my computer. It was reasonably priced the only thing is that it doesn’t play Blu-ray but that’s fine

Worked perfectly with my Dell computer. Although it is lightweight and thin, it is very sturdy. I wish that had continued placing optic drives in the computer, but this is the next best thing.

Excellent product. It is simple and works well, which is appreciated as most desktops and laptops no longer have CD/DVD drives installed. It's an even better value when this is on sale

This is a great alternative for computers with no cd/dvd drives. It’s compact and light. All it takes is an usb connection. I travel for work quite a bit and it has helped me tremendously without taking much space or having to install complicated drivers. Great product!!!

very nice cd /dvd player. very easy to use and much improved from my old one . sorry I took so long to upgrade.

I was trying to find a good deal on one of these that was compatible with blue ray but could not. I have one from years ago (2018) that I use when traveling to watch my blue ray movies. This one is simple and very easy to use. The only downside is it doesn't recognize blue ray.

External DVD drive is very useful. As it is slim so very easy to carry.

Great price and works well with my Surface Book with no issue. Small and light and can fit in bag.

I purchased this to use with my new laptop and it works great. The price was nice too. It was so easy to just plug in and use.

Works as advertised. Recognized by Win10 immediately. No errors reading CDs and DVDs. Created several DVD+R discs error free. Can be quite noisey sitting flat on desktop so I put it on a piece of old mouse pad which all ed the issue plus raises it enough to make it easier to open and close and not slide around when doing so.

While I don't like that a lot of laptops have gotten rid of the CD feature, laptops are extremely light and thin nowadays. For it's use, this external CD drive is awesome! I use it to make mix CDs for my commute to work when I can't use data for spotify off my phone and to play old PC games on my laptop. I like how slim and portable it is and the cable isn't too long or chunky either.

Fast, easy to see screen, light weight, good sound. The mouse pad is easy to use. It didn’t come with a DVD but the plug in one I purchased works fine.

Great Drive! Works flawlessly. You can buy one and use it on all of your devices. Plug it into any usb port on any device and that is it!

My pc dvd drive went out an I thought about having it repaired. But I realized they make external dvd drives an I seen this one on sale. Bought it An it’s very nice. Small An compact. Can take it anywhere. Plug it in and it’s ready to go.
