Works great. Was surprised how well it just worked. I've had problems in the past. All ways enjoy something I don't have to learn a bunch of stuff just to get going.

More and more pc's and laptops are coming without dvd drives built in, so this is a helpful device. It is plug and play with the included usb cable. It feels a bit flimsy and it is a bit loud, but those are trade-offs for its compact size, which is not much bigger than a dvd itself.

Slim DVD/CD Rom. Plugged it in, it booted up and started qorking immediately. No issues, reads everything I have thrown in it so far. Functions flawlessly. Price was very reasonable too. Easy to transport, takes up little space.

Sometimes you need a CD/DVD burner/reader. Small and compact, this does the job. Just plug in and use. All powered over USB, so once plugged in you're set. Reads and writes with no issues. Windows has everything for it to work.

The printer is very good. Its easy 2 use. The staff person was helpful in deciding which printer to buy.

Since COVID the students start off in my class room, and I need to play a movie so that I can focus on preparing for that day's classes. With a new laptop, I had no internal drive for my TurboTax CD. After some research, I decided on the Dell USB Slim DVD. Best Buy had the product I wanted. The reviews were good, the price was very reasonable, and the taxes got filed!

Nice portable cd/dvd witter, a little bit noisy but its get the job done. Got it during the thanks giving sale and for the price i paid for, its a steal! If you need an external cd dvd writter this is highly recommeded.

This is a great addition for the computer I bought at Best Buy a year ago! Now I can listen to my CDs and watch my DVD's. It was a simple set-up!

I purchased a Dell USB external CD drive to go along with my Lenovo Flex 4 laptop, for occasional use...it's a fantastic addition because it's lite, quiet and just plug it into any of the multiple USB ports on the Flex 4 and it's good to go...The Flex 4 and the Dell drive were priced right, as usual, at my Best Buys location. A excellent choice for you.

No hassle to use. I grabbed this for $30+tax, which is a decent sale price. There are similar products that will get the job done at a price around $25 compared to this item's retail price of $40, so I would only buy this item if it's on sale.

I found myself needing an optical drive recently. Obviously you can't add one internally to a laptop - or to a Mac mini, so external was the way to go. This was just what was needed. Simple, slim, quick enough to do what I needed, recognized instantly, and low cost.
