Among other things, I can cast to my smart tv. I am able to watch shows through my computer and do office work. I like its speed. I would recommend it to any one.

Good price, great little drive

The Dell was on sale at the time, and seemed like a nicer drive than the other USB 2.0's Hooked it up and installed the Cyberlink Media Suite (included). Then opened a photo DVD to transfer the files, was pleased how well it worked.

Good product, old software

The drive itself works well . The CyberLink Media Suitev.12 would not load into my Inspiron M731R laptop running Windows 10. I use VLC Media Player and Nero Burn Express 3 and the 316 drive works flawlessly. Good mechanicals, out-of-date software...

Nice Deal

All the new ones don't have a cd drive. I needed to transfer all of my music from cd's and this little unit did just that. Reasonable price and worked great!

Good product when stationed

I feared that the disc is hitting the drive box and it was not being held properly. In case you see moving a lot while the drive is attached to the laptop, you should not be opting for it. But in case you at stationed at one place while the drive is attached to desktop/laptop I find it as useful product

Great option for laptops with no CD drive

This is a very affordable and super easy to use option. I highly reccommend to any looking for an external drive to play and/or burn discs.

Plug and play. Simple, inexpensive, Dell quality-

I didnt want to spend a ton of money, this was perfect. It's small and portable, and plays everything I need. Plugs right into usb drive. A great solution for what I needed. Can also play dvd's!
