There's not much to say beyond the fact that it works perfectly. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a plug-in CD/DVD drive. It was less money than some of the other brands and in my opinion works as good as some and better than most. It plays games and movies equally well. It's a good value and dependable.

The external USB DVD+RW/CD-RW worked flawlessly. My DVD drive on my laptop stopped working. I did not have time to get it repaired, before a deadline. I was able to complete the assignment on time.

When I recently purchased a new laptop I was sad to lose the ability to watch a movie when doing my digital drawings. Then I did some research and found this plug and play. I haven't tried it out for burning CDs yet, but it does download them and play dvds. It's a little noisy, but I'm use to it since my old laptop did the same.

Actually bought this for my work. We occasionally need to copy stuff to CD's and almost none of our computers have the drive anymore. This is really plug and play. Works great.

Needed a drive for my laptop and this external drive fits the bill nice and portable.

External DVD drive is very useful. As it is slim so very easy to carry.

My new PC doesn't have a CD/DVD drive so I bought this. It's sooooo simple. Plug it in, turn on the computer, pop in a CD or DVD, sit back and enjoy. Perfect example of plug and play.

More and more pc's and laptops are coming without dvd drives built in, so this is a helpful device. It is plug and play with the included usb cable. It feels a bit flimsy and it is a bit loud, but those are trade-offs for its compact size, which is not much bigger than a dvd itself.

Needed a DVD reader for my laptop move files from disc to SSD . Works well and matched my Dell laptop. Haven't written to disc yet so I can't say how good the writing capabilities are

Was perfect for my needs, plug and play with no issues, all worked as described.

I purchased the laptop because my old one had problems with email. The geek squad transferred everything I’ve and I got home and the same problem happened with the new one. In the meantime after taking the old laptop back to factory specs my daughter installed outlook for my husband and it worked perfect. I don’t believe I needed a new laptop. I hate to give a bad review of the product because I haven’t been able to use. If I could review the geek squad for telling my I needed a laptop I would prefer that. One other issue is they told me I needed Norton’s because it is best. I paid for it even though I already had a subscription for McAfee and although they said they would install the Norton’s they didn’t.

Bought on sale for less than $20. Perfect for ripping thrifted CDs to MP3. Since most PCs these days don't have a disk drive, this helps me avoid turning my desktop on just to rip a CD. It is plastic and very slim, so it feels fragile. But so far so good.

Slim DVD/CD Rom. Plugged it in, it booted up and started qorking immediately. No issues, reads everything I have thrown in it so far. Functions flawlessly. Price was very reasonable too. Easy to transport, takes up little space.

Very compatible with the stand-alone computer I purchased. Very efficient plug and play device with no snags in its operation.

Easy to use, light weight, very small and easy to pack in my computer bag

Sometimes you need a CD/DVD burner/reader. Small and compact, this does the job. Just plug in and use. All powered over USB, so once plugged in you're set. Reads and writes with no issues. Windows has everything for it to work.

I needed a disc drive to help show movies to my kids in school. Since COVID the students start off in my class room, and I need to play a movie so that I can focus on preparing for that day's classes. Now that computers no longer have disc drives, this is exactly what I needed. It is super light weight and easy to add to my school bag.
