Worked perfectly with my Dell computer. Although it is lightweight and thin, it is very sturdy. I wish that had continued placing optic drives in the computer, but this is the next best thing.

Super neat little gadget that I didn’t know existed until it was a suggested purchase when I bought a new laptop. Love that I can hook it up to my laptop and still access my photo CD’s and other things.

Very light weight and easy to use. Very affordable.

Bought DVD drive so I can load programs on my new computer. It does it quickly and accurately. I also used it to copy a disk and that was successful. I have had it for a few weeks with no problems. I am pleased with its performance. Also no set up was needed to use the external drive.

I am extremely happy with this Dell external DVD drive. I have installed some of my older programs on new lap and it worked wonderfully. It is easy to use and does a good job while taking up little room. Great price too!

I bought this to replace my dead built-in DVD-rom drive on my Macbook Pro, and it worked great. It also goes with my new Macbook Pro, which has nothing, and it's lightweight and plug-and-play. Granted it's a pretty simple device, but it does what it's supposed to well.

this item was as described on the packaging. as for the setup of the item it was pretty much plug n play. my computer recognized the drive as soon as i plugged it in. i was using it within 15 minutes of unpackaging it.

I found myself needing a new laptop and to my surprise NONE are made with a disc drive anymore! This was devastating for me, however I searched for an external disc drive and found this one by Dell. This external disc drive can be plugged into a laptop and does not require any software installation. It runs like a champion!!! I find myself going back in time as I burn CDS and play roller coaster tycoon on my laptop. I would definitely recommend buying this item!

This came at a discount with the laptop and has been quite useful. This is my first time without a built-in external drive, so having the ability to download the old-fashioned way every now and then has been good for the price. I even have co-workers borrowing the external device from me!

Inexpensive drive. Works well with Windows 11. No problems using a hub to connect it to my Microsoft PC.

Since most laptops do not have a DVD/CD drive anymore, this is a must have. I still have some programs that have a DVD disc, and this works perfectly. Easy to use, and small enough to tuck away in a drawer until you need it.

The Dell USB Slim DVD drive was just what I needed to read/review quite a few disks I had amassed over the years. The pricing for the drive very is reasonable.

Nice addition to my Dell laptop that doesn't have a CD/DVD slot. And what's even better is that I got it on sale and paid less than I would have at Dell. This does all I need it to do.

Good product that integrates well with my Dell laptop. Having it separate kept the weight off of my laptop, which is a good thing. The price was reasonable, too.

My last dell desktop was bought in 2011 and worked great only upgraded because it would not accept widows 11. I love dell products

Great addition to my Dell Alienware lap top. The DVD drive is slim and easy to store, doesn't take up too much space. Highly recommend if you need an external DVD +/RW Drive.
