Easy to set up... easy to use...In a time when cds and dvds have gone to the wayside, I’m glad to have something to download my music and pictures from cds and dvds. I love it.

It was just what I needed. Easy to use. External device for DVD is great.

I was hesitant, was not sure I was buying the right DVD RW drive to run a turbo tax program. I also burned a back up disk on a blank DVD recordable disk.......good price and lightweight . Plug and play

Great addition to my laptop. Plays and writes dvds. What little I have used it is good. Easy to connect and figure out. Great price for this product. Instructions could be easier to understand.

Works perfectly with my Dell laptop. No set up issues and went right to work. Only issue I had is the fact the unit is so light, you have to hold the body to push the tray in to close. But small price to pay for a single wire, lightweight drive to use with my laptop.

So far, so good. I bought one of these and haven't used it much in like other say, it is a kind of delicate design So just be careful with it. I got two when they went on sale and use some of my reward points to pick up the second one. I will leave a review in a couple of years again.

Definitely plug and play. Simple installation with windows 7 drivers. Plays both ntsc and pal dvds just as the internal drive.

I know in this day and age no one uses optical drives anymore but I am a person who still uses CDs because it's another source of data back up because hard drives and ssd's can still fail when saving data so I decided to buy an external dvd burner to continue to copy data on to CDs. This drive works just like any other optical drive but keep in mind this external USB dvd burner uses 2.0 speeds so it's a tiny bit slower compare to a regular SATA optical drive but it works just fine as it does what I need to do. I should add here this drive doesn't need a power adapter as the USB 2.0 cord powers it on when you connect it to your laptop.

Works well with both my data and music CD/DVDs. I've missed having a built-in drive since I got a new laptop, but this gets the job done at a reasonable price.

Great ad-on for a new Dell laptop. Worked easily and quickly out of the box. Also came with some cool software. Very reasonably priced too. Glad I purchased.

Lightweight drive is great for PC or Mac. Burns discs and works good without needing to install any special drivers.

I had to get an external DVD drive because my new Dell laptop does not have an internal DVD drive. This one was on sale because I bought it the same time as the laptop. It works fine. It is very fast and lightweight.

Although most software is able to be downloaded, my printer came with a CD with the software and drivers. I connected it to mt 2 in 1 laptop and it loaded and installed the software quickly and correctly the first time!

I purchased this to work with my new laptop. It works great. I have used it several times since I purchased it this month. I keep it connected when I need it and remove it I’m not using it. I have not had any issues using it.
