I purchased this to work with my new laptop. It works great. I have used it several times since I purchased it this month. I keep it connected when I need it and remove it I’m not using it. I have not had any issues using it.

A salesman at Best Buy recommended this drive and I am very happy with the performance. I also like how thin it is resulting in needing little space.

This slim external USB DVD+RW/CD-RW drive works great. It is a good thing to have when your computer doesn't come with one.

I needed an external disc drive and this filled the bill perfectly. I like the price point, the ease of use and it arrived when it was expected. All in all perfect experience.

The DVD drive is very slim and fits just about anywhere. Very fast and easy to set up. The included software is OK, but other third party video software works better.

This External DVD player is lightweight and easy to use. I just plugged it into my laptop and waited for it to load my dvd and then I hit play. One time there seemed to be a lag time like it was not reading the DVD yet smooth sailing since. I am glad I discovered this portable device.

This reader/writer is a great addition for your modern laptop that does not come with one native. It ultra thin and lightweight to store with you. Do a comparison on the specs, its the best one on the market.

It’s ok Does what it’s supposed to do Longer cord would be nice

This was a reasonably priced drive - I am one of those old school people that wishes computers came with a DVD/CD drive. So far it has worked well for ripping CDs, etc. Have not tried to do too much writing.

Very good portable USB DVD read write disk player/recorder - works great but a bit noisy . . .

DVDs and CDs are nearly obsolete, so most modern computers (rightfully so) don't have optical drives of any kind. This is a quiet, plug & play DVD drive/burner for the instance when you need to read or write a CD or DVD on a PC that doesn't have one. I got these at a great price for store pickup and they have worked perfect since. Nice to have on hand.

It’s worked great for my needs so far. I have been able to get old photos off of burned dvds and Blu-ray’s.

I haven't used it yet, or shall I say looked in it but I will say the Best Buy Rep said it was the right one and I believe him.

Had to purchase a disc drive for my new PC cause I had a few older programs I can't live without and this is the answer! So Easy! Just plug it in to one of the usb ports and Done! Can't get any easier.... Love it!

It was a lot smaller than the picture in the ad showed so it must have been an old pic of an older version of the product that looked similar. The size makes it easy to store though and doesn't affect performance

Computers don't come with disc drives any more sadly. For those with legacy physical media this is a must. Great grab on deal of the day.
