This is very simple to use and have had no issues running any disks with my laptop. Simply plug it in and it’s ready to go. Slim design allows for ease of carry and storage.

Worked perfectly. My wife and I both have computers (2 laptops and 1 tower) without a cd/dvd drive. My wife ended up getting an older style embroidery machine that required software installed from the provided cd that wasn’t available online. The plug and play worked without any issues and my wife was able to install her software and I have been able to use on my computers back and forth without any problems.

Works great. Very compact so fits in my bag. Great price. I didn't want to spend a lot on something I don't use very often.

Bought this external drive to load software only available on CD. Easy plug and go using the USB connection. Nice for watching movies on the plane and while traveling internationally!

New laptop didn’t have internal CD/ DVD option. Simple hookup. Am able to burn CDs and DVDs. Super small footprint makes it easy to travel with.

This device has been very useful since most computers nowadays are not coming with an internal drive. My job requires me to use CDS but the work computers no longer have the drive so purchasing one of these for on-the-go job assignments has been the best decision for me. The diced is slim so it can fit it all of my purses and not take up too much room. I recommended putting the USB cord in a ziploc to keep it from getting broken or messed up.

found an old dvd i made when i was a kid but no devices i own have a dvd player so i ran over to best buy to pick up this drive and it was a blast to the past and very much worth the small price, now i feel compelled to try making dvd's just because i can. the program it comes with is super helpful!

When i bought my new computer i wanted to be able to watch movies. Since laptops no longer contain built in cd drives this was the cheapest alternative. It works really well for what i wanted. All i had to do was download some additional software. If you buy this item make sure when using it that you push the disk all the way down or it won't play correctly.

The Dell USB Slim DVD Drive is easy to install and use. The product comes with a USB Cable which you connect one end to the drive and the other end to a USB port on your computer. Once it is connected to your computer it is ready to use. The product also comes with a DVD that has Cyberlink Media Suite which you can install on your computer. This drive is very quiet and burns DVDs nicely.
