Does what it is supposed to do, feels flimsy

Small and quiet

Wish it didn't have a tray and was slotted but that would likely require more power. Works fine off of one USB port.

CD/DVD Player

However, since I'm retired I can just use an external one, when I have the need. This one has served me well. It's performance is excellent. I trust Dell products, they served me well while in the Marines and havw continued to serve me now. I expected no less.

Great Little Drive at a Great Price

Seems the majority of them now are lacking this feature! Needed to load some software on the new laptop that was on Disc and didn't want to spend a ton of money since this was going to be a one time use of the product for this purpose. The Laptop had Windows 11 installed on it. Plugged the drive in and use it to load the software with no issues at all! Very good price at BB for the drive!
