I had troubles with a couple od drives being recognized by my laptop but this one worked right away.

I sew and can play my DVD's as I am working at my machine. I also will use it for books on tape and music as I am doing other things

Affordable TV and Movie DVD Viewing

While DVDs are facing competition from streaming services, some of us still have large collections. This very affordable accessory enables me to continue to watch movies and tv shows on DVDs on my laptop.

We have too many CDs and DV's that we want to be able to use in the future. This will allow us to take our time transferring them to USB flash drives.
