I bought this external DVD drive because my computer didn't come with one. I have yet to install it.

I needed a simple and inexpensive DVD player for my computer, and I have used this model before. As in the past, it has worked very well for my needs, and is a good player.

Unlike my old laptop, my new laptop doesn't have a CD drive. This compact DVD/CD drive is small enough to store in my laptop case.

It’s worked great for my needs so far. I have been able to get old photos off of burned dvds and Blu-ray’s.

I was able to connect this device and it worked fine (instantly); I was worried that it was only for DVDs but found out that it also does CDs. If it didn't play CDs, I was getting ready to return it.

Purchased Dell computer without DVD capabilities so ordered this. Works great and was at a great price! Good rating because its new and have not used it very much to date.

Happy with this choice. I still have DVD/CD products that can be used on a computer.

I have only had this for a few weeks, but it is a great addition to my laptop. It is small enough to keep in my laptop's case so I can take it with me. Works great.

This drive works great and meets all mt expectations. With it being so slim, it fits in my computer bag nicely for travel.

Bought this DVD/CD RW external drive to accompany a new laptop. Easy plug in an play install and works great. Light weight and easily slipped into a backpack with your laptop

Slim, but very nice and helpful. It also works like a star. One thing I’m not in it is, it’s over priced.

I purchased this Dell Drive to work with my Dell 13.5 Inspiron. Inexpensive and fast. I use it to download product software from my camera and it's accessories. Works flawlessly.

Easy to set up, works perfectly and the price is right!

Nice inexpensive external dvd drive used on laptop. Drive is small enough to fit in any size case without taking up much room. Able to read or burn cdroms or dvds.

New computers don't come with a DVD drive or VGA connections. I have the need for both but these products add to the cost. It did fill the need.

So far so good. Had to the Dell external DVD player since most laptop & computers today don't come with them.

So far, so good. I bought one of these and haven't used it much in like other say, it is a kind of delicate design So just be careful with it. I got two when they went on sale and use some of my reward points to pick up the second one. I will leave a review in a couple of years again.

Bought this for a few of my laptops which don't have a DVD player. This is compact, lightweight and very portable unit. For the price it was well worth it.

Worked perfectly on my device. Was very pleased with this item.

Works perfectly with my Dell laptop. No set up issues and went right to work. Only issue I had is the fact the unit is so light, you have to hold the body to push the tray in to close. But small price to pay for a single wire, lightweight drive to use with my laptop.
