Since most laptops do not come with the drives internally anymore, we figured we'd buy this one. It was relatively easy to set up, but I did find that I had to install the updated software from the disk that came with it to get it to work properly on our laptop. My wife has several DVDs from other regions that we were very happy to find that this drive would play without an issue!
