Gets the job done

It works well, is quiet and when I am not using it, it fits easily into a drawer of my desk.

True Plug-and-Play DVD

I bought this after a disastrous experience on Ebay with a cheap $22 no-name DVD drive. My advice is to spend the extra money on this reliable Dell DVD drive, as it's well worth avoiding aggravation. Ebay does not honor its consumer protection guarantee when the offending company claims that returned merchandise was "used". Avoid Ebay and buy this product instead from Best Buy.

Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

It's a product you can trust. I prefer a DVD/CD read-write device that opens like a clam shell rather than on with a drawer or slit that sucks the disk in and sometimes will spit it back out. This one has worked well. No complaints.
