Small and portable

When not in use, I can place it somewhere so it will not clutter my workspace. It also is a help when using the laptop and wanting to add something from a disc storage.

Good for the price

About a day later, I thought the price seemed high and checked Best Buy. They had two makes for three-quarters the price of the one I originally bought ... so back it went and I went to Best Buy. This one was not on the shelf, but some rummaging by an assistant in the back room found two of them. This Dell is in a much more robust case than the make I originally purchased, only uses one USB port for power and connection rather than two on the other, and I like the black color much better than the other one's "putty."

Works smoothly and fast.
