My PC is a Dell also so it is a nice match but not necessary. I also like shopping at Best Buy because you can find salespeople who can actually answer questions for you unlike most other stores.

Installation of software was smooth but somewhat confusing as to what was actually included.

Worth for the price range and decent buy

I had many doubts though before buying but I can honestly tell its a worthy item for the price. The disc is being read quickly and there is not any much noise during the read operation. You will not regret for this purchase and decent produxt in this price range. Best buy service as always been best so far.

USB slim DVD drive

Our 12 year old computer crashed a while ago so went to Best Buy to get a new one. New computers don't come with CD/DVD drives anymore, we didn't know This is so easy to just plug into the new computer and now I can view all my pictures again.

It does exactly what I needed it to do, and it is extremely easy to use. I have hundreds of old CDs that I've been wanting to put into my iTunes library, but my computer does not have an internal cd drive. (You know, because most don't anymore.) This little guy did the trick, and I got it on sale, so the cost was great!
