Works great. Team was very friendly and knowledgeable with this product.

Had a problem with a different DVD burner, so went looking at reviews. Needed one that would work with a Surface Pro 6. The other one required more power than the USB connector on the Surface Pro 6 provided. Have been using this for over a year, roughly once a month to back up my novels to disc because I do not trust USB or SD card backups alone. Have only used this on Windows 10 device though, so keep that in mind. Purchased it because it had very good reviews on Best Buy and elsewhere. It has held up fine. Has never been dropped (knock on wood) so cannot speak to its durability under duress. Kept indoors too. I burn two DVDs once a month roughly.

Works great! Quiet and quick and very easy to install as it's plug and play.

Really like it is easy and straight forward to use. And is light weight.

Gets the job done. Nothing more, nothing less. I would buy again.

I've used this external drive with a Latitude 3810 (W10 Pro), an Inspiron 5373 (W10 Home) and an Asus KMA200 (originally W8, upgraded to W10 Home). Plug and play, no performance issues. If you want to use it to watch a DVD movie, you'll need to get VLC or another media player. W10 no longer has an internal DVD player. VLC seems to be the industry norm, and it works will.

Have tried it only to see that it’s working so far but with Dell products of which I’ve been a user for years I know I will be satisfied with it as I do use it more

This external dvd reader/writer has worked well with my Dell laptop running windows 10; plug-n-play and has performed great!

Purchased this drive with my new laptop so that I could use it to listen to my cd collection and watch my dvd collection. The drive works well but my laptop won’t load the software so I had to download Microsoft media player in order to use it!

I use this hooked up to my laptop. I've had no problems. It's not delicate; I've moved it from room to room and house to house. I have enjoyed watching 3rd Rock From the Sun on dvd (which can be bought cheaply and watched at leisure without commercials).

this drive has allowed me to add older programs and update some others. Plug and play is a great advantage

modern problems require modern solutions. I love this portable disc player. as we continue to move forward and phase out disc drives, these items become very handy.
