Slow, but gets the job done.

It gets the job done, but it is quite slow. Probably the best available for this reasonable price, and it actually works with the SurfaceBook which is something many of the drives available can't say. I can't recommend it without disclaimer, but I could recommend it with the understanding of its limitations.

Slim and portable external DVD drive

My recently purchased laptop doesn't have a DVD drive, so I purchased this as an add-on. It is pretty good quality. Setup was very easy, simply plug and play (like a USB thumb drive) on my laptop that runs Windows 10.

Needed to download the disc for my new printer. The online install failed to work because it keep interrupting the internet. This was the same price as purchasing help, but is a better value since I can use it whenever it is needed (like games on disc).
