Needed it for work. Easy to use, works great and was a decent price.

It's very light and easy to use. Speed is pretty fast. However, if it's USB3.0 would be better.

Seems to solve the problem that most new computers do not have this function.

Works perfectly fine. If you need a dvd drive this’ll do the job.

There isn't much to say about the Dell-USB Slim DVD+/-RW Drive. If you need an optical drive this will work very well. It's pretty much plug-and-play and works well.

Since computers no longer come with a CD/DVD drive (why not??) I needed to add one to my wife's new Dell Computer. This does what it is supposed to, but it sure is light-weight and feels flimsy. I hope it lasts. Works fine and was indeed plug and play.

Good product from a good company, Dell. Compact and durable. It worked well and included the dvd software. It had a small footprint so it didn't get in the way.

Needed to get a new CD 'burner'... pleasantly surprised to find out that AC is no longer needed for operation of these (my replaced one was VERY old). This is (USB) 'plug and play'. Construction is much 'flimsier' than the old one- but everything, today, is the same. Hoping for many years of operation!

I’ve had no problems with this disc drive since my purchase. It works really great for me to download games and other programs on my computer. I’ve been able to commute with it and I would say it is very portable. Thanks Dell for another great item to go with my laptop.

The USB connected CD/DVD provides a great addition to my new laptop. I enjoy usinging my laptop to play music while doing work on the computer or playing a movie when I have some alone time.
