I THINK it burns cd's, but it loaded my my flight simulator X disks PERFECTLY...**note** THIS IS NOT A COMPUTER... ITS A USB DVD DRIVE!!!

I haven't used this yet. I will be purchasing a new laptop and have a few programs and files on CD/DVD. I don't want to limit myself and felt this was the best option to add so I can utilize my present resources and grow from there.

Great external dvd player

Runs smoothly and is easy to set up. Great price and amazing service with Best Buy. I recommend getting the 2 year plan with Best Buy in case anything happens.

Great external cd/DVD drive

Unfortunately, it didn't have a cd/DVD drive so I purchased this one. It's a Dell so I expected quality and got it. If youvneed an external drive, I suggest this one.

If you get a newer laptop (no dvd drive) this is a nice option. Sooner or later you will need to access something and this will save your bacon.
