This is an adequate player/ reader. It's a little lightweight and flimsy but maybe that's a good thing. I've never had need for an external reader before because it's always been in my computer. My new computer is super slim so this is very helpful.

love this external DVD/CD drive. Using it primarily for burning copies of audio discs. Works great and burns quickly. Also travels with me easily and takes up little space.

My daughter's laptop has no dvd drive and she needed to install software on discs, so this fit the bill perfectly. I can't comment on the durability since we have only had it a few weeks. It installed easily on her Win 10 HP laptop.

This DVD player works great with my laptop PC! I can watch movies, play games, and even make a system restore disk! DVD rives are very essential and everyone should have one!

This external disc drive works well. No functional or technical issues and it is very easy to use. The sound is not really noticeable when a disc is running.

Was able to play old mini dvd discs. They snap perfectly in the center and stay in place. Charges directly through usb that connects to laptop. Light weight, best investment.

My laptop did not come with a DVD player. Once I realized it I went back to the store. The CSR suggested I get this. I have used it several times with no issues. Well worth the money.

Needed the DVD to load program from CD to Lap Top without a bultin DVD. Worked as expected.
