    Bought this to use on my Dell Precision 7 series laptop. Superb match and now allows me to use my existing DVD/CD files and burn DVDs.

    Easy to use - just plugged it in to my laptop and it worked! Nice slim case too so once I was done using it, I just put it back into it's box for storage.

    Returned my original disk drive because when I opened box at home , it was a storage unit. Made a special trip (29 miles) to return storage devise and bought Dell disk drive.

    I bought this to transfer my data from my old laptop that died suddenly and I had no problems at all. It was a cheap alternative to using someone else to transfer the data for me.

    I recently purchased a Dell laptop from Best Buy that does not have a DVD drive. I needed to install some software via DVD and this external USB DVD drive does the job. Simple to connect and use.
