I bought this laptop in April of 2023 and as of July 2nd, 2023 this laptop is practically unusable. Randomly a couple nights ago while I was playing a game I've played a dozen times on this thing I got a blue screen and basically the whole pc had crashed. Didn't think much of it, restarted the pc, ran the support assist, it came back with nothing, tried playing again. Bluescreen again, OS crashed again. This went on for 45 minutes throughout 3 games, all of which have never had issues before until I decided to wipe the pc and start over assuming some update had screwed it up or maybe the computer was getting too cluttered or something. Fresh wipe didnt fix the problem, tried again, that fixed my bluescreen problem however now the laptop refuses to use the Nvidea RTX3050 on the built in display causing any and all games or graphical intensive programs to run at abysmal frame rates on the integrated graphics. I've updated all the drivers, updated everything, GeForce, intel and soft/hard resets, updated bios and checked every setting I could to no avail. After two months this thing is seemingly falling apart and I cant tell why, Ive downloaded nothing other than Discord and Steam then used the browser for Youtube and Twitch. Don't waste your money on this thing, even when it worked fine it wasnt anything special, if i had the option Id return it but im way past that deadline.

Upon use back at home we found a cap crashing every five to 10 minutes with a blue screen of death so we kept updating the video drivers and though it crashes less it still crashes we suspect a faulty video card. Disappointed that this wasn't properly tested by Best Buy so now I will have to return it.

A minor issue is that I had to watch a YouTube video in order to utilize the Nvidia graphics card and not the integrated one. The battery life is terrible. I couldn’t get more than 2 hours max while I’m energy saving mode. Then the computer would power off while not in use and refuse to restart. Dell should pull this model off the shelves.

Decent gaming rig
