|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This Dell G15 laptop hits the "sweet spot" of price vs performance and features. It's far more powerful than you really need for tasks like email and web browsing, but that extra margin of performance is great for running office software or image editing tasks. It also can do medium duty video editing and stuff like that. If you are a casual or intermediate gamer the discrete nvidia graphics chip shines and lets you play games in full HD at high settings with decent frame rates. I get over 120 fps in the RC airplane flight simulator software I play with a lot. The RTX 3050 laptop graphics chip is nvidia's entry-level GPU but it does a great job. If you are currently using a laptop with just the integrated Intel or AMD graphics this is a big step up. Windows 11 is smart enough to automatically choose the appropriate graphics processor for each app that you run. The build quality of this laptop is quite nice. The body of the unit is all plastic, but it's a very nice plastic. It's very sturdy and well-finished. The speckles make it look kind of like stone. The keyboard is illuminated with orange LEDs and the brightness is easily adjusted. The screen is nice and sharp with full HD resolution. Sound quality of the built-in speakers is better than most laptops I have used, even ones that make a big deal out of their "special" audio features. there is also a good selection of ports. I like that the HDMI and USB-C ports are on the back edge of the laptop, that helps keep the cords off my desk when using it that way. Overall this laptop is a great value and should meet the needs of all but the most hard-core gamer.

That is not the type of feedback we like to hear from our customers. Below I have provided troubleshooting steps to help resolve your issue.
1. Download and install the latest Wireless Card driver. (https://dell.to/2th3Tpe) After updating the driver, re-establish the connection with the Wireless Access Point and check the wireless performance.
2. If the issue persists, proceed to step 3.
3. Power-cycle the local network. Shut down the Dell system, the Wireless Access Point/Router and the Modem. Wait a minimum of 60 seconds before powering up the components in the following order:
4. Power ON the Modem, and wait for it to boot fully.
5. Power ON the Wireless Access Point/Router, and wait for it to boot fully.
6. Power ON the Dell system.
7. Open Network and Sharing Center
8. In the left side navigation pane, click on Change Adapter Settings
9. Right click on the wireless connection icon and select Properties followed by the Configure button
10. Under Wireless Options, select the Wireless N mode
11. For Windows 8 or later systems click the Advanced tab and look for 802.11n Mode on the right you will be given the option to Enable or Disable. If the mode is not visible you may need to update your drivers and firmware.
12. From the drop-down menu, choose Disable followed by Ok
13. This should restore the wireless download and upload speed.
14. Internet speed can be tested at http://speedtest.net.
