Which still doesn't work. Downgrading to Win 10 pro didn't help just made more issues since apparently it doesn't work like its suppose to unless its windows 11, thats what customer service from Dell said...and if you want more support from Dell then you have to upgrade your support subscription, pretty much your paying to get the the brand new laptop you just bought to get fixed or find out what the issue is. The free support version takes a few days to even respond, if they even bother. This laptop also comes with Dells custom applications, literally have 20 different Dell applications/services running in the background. Defiantly wound not recommend this peice of junk to anyone, but you could possibly get lucky and get a better version, I thought that before I bought it as well. Oh yeh also the AlienWare software thats suppose to give you access to overclock your cpu, have yet to get it to work , Dell insists reinstalling windows, and any Alienware sofware, even when I have done that 30 times now. Overall this laptop is really unreliable to waste of money, even when its cheap/on sale. Tip for new ppl if whatever laptop is on sale with a decent amount off, just keep in mind its probably on sale for a reason, if it worked as good as advertised then it wouldnt need to be on sale in the first place. Also watch out for the fans setting in the alienware center (its the only thing that works in Alienware center), its default set on auto, which lets the cpu get up to 70 c. before even bothering to turn the fans on, and it likes to be at 60-70 c. regularly in idle, took me a min to even realize how hot my cpu was running constantly. To many issues with a brand new laptop, youd think they could at least make it last for a few weeks, especially in this price range.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop to replace a Dell with an Intel Core 7 8th gen processor because the battery no longer holds a charge and I can't use it in the field. After looking at different systems, I chose this one because it has good reviews and I figured that, as it is a "Gaming Laptop" it would be more than adequate to handle the estimating software that I use for work, which is Xactimate X1. This systems performance is very disappointing - it seems to be much slower than the system I have replaced it with in just about every aspect. I am not a gamer, but with the work that I do, I would not recommend this system.
