||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dont buy online or open box! Purchased this Dell open-box and was sent an HP. Best Buy Refused to exchange it only issued a refund since they claimed it was open-box, but this directly contradicts their policy on returns or exchanges. Also since i purchased the Dell monitor during a sale for $160 and that sale has ended I paid full price $260 to get the product i originally ordered. Since i purchased online and open-box manager would not price adjust for the previous sale so i just spent the $$. The monitor is ok with good picture quality, but the experience I went through to actually get it has soured it. Will be returning it soon and finding a Tech store that values me as a customer.

It originated from the top right side of the vents and you can definitely smell it even from far. It was potentially dangerous, so I returned it. If you get this monitor I recommend it being the first thing you check.

A monitor I am unable to use

I told the guy at the store what I needed and he suggested this one, so I bought it. It took a couple days before I opened the box and attempted using it. The connections did not support a PC computer as I was told it did. I reboxed it up and wanted to return it, but it only had a 15 day return. So now I am screwed, I have a probably really good monitor that I cannot us. So am I pleased? You be the judge.

The monitor looks solid, with good brightness and is good for games due to the low response time, but it has an issue with the power connection where it constantly loses power with the slightest nudge. Adjust the monitor's position on the stand? No power. Bump your desk? No picture. Look at the monitor sideways? Dark screen. I suppose you could take the risk and glue the thing in place, but otherwise, get something else, because it isn't worth the hassle of losing the picture so easily all the time.
