I updated every possible thing that I could on the laptop ( Bios, Drivers, even Turned off Turbo Boost on the Processor ) and all it did was over heat and then began a cycle of crashing and restarting it's self, after only about a minute of playing any game. The internals seem to be a good deal but Dell really needs to do more testing on these laptops before they start selling them to the public. Save your money and a headache and get something else.

Wanted the Acer Rogue, but was a bit out of price range. This gaming laptop was definitely a good pick, my son enjoys it and will for sure be getting upgrades as they come.

Was good in the beginning....

Now after owning it for two years my harddrive is going out and the laptop will wipe it self if i dont keep it plugged in or shut it down since then everything i had on it is now gone now im just managing with what i have. In the beginning i wouldve highly recommended it now not anymore.

Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear about your experience with your computer so far. Here are some tips to help with your computer:
1. Update your computer BIOS to the latest version available
• Browse to the Dell Drivers & Downloads page:
• Ensure you have selected the correct Operating System
• Under Category, choose BIOS
• Locate the latest System BIOS
• Click Download and save the file to your PC
• Open File Explorer and browse to the location where you saved the downloaded file
• Double-click the BIOS setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process
2. Open Alienware Command Center
3. Click Thermal at the Active Default Theme and set it to Performance
4. Restart the computer
5. Once the computer boots into Windows open SupportAssist
6. Go to the Troubleshooting tab and click on I want to check a specific piece of hardware
7. Click CPU under CPU Devices
8. Select CPU Stress Test and click Run Test
9. Open the Alienware Command Center and go to the Fusion tab
• The CPU peak temperature should be less than or equal to (≤) 100 ℃
• When under high stress, the computer's average temperature can be expected to be less than (≤) 100 ℃.

19 days and hdmi graghics card stopped working

The amd gracficas card keeps telling me its has erroers and it told me warni g a key. Opponent on this device is failing!!!!! I owed it for 19 days!!! Called best buy to get a replacement......... sorry we have a 14 day return/exchange pollacy.
