I bought it because I missed the sale on the HP Omen OLED and this was the next best equivalent. The display is beautiful and the specs are good but the thermal management system is awful. This computer cannot run most games without the CPU getting too hot. Once it reaches a certain temperature it throttles the CPU speed causing your game to freeze for a few seconds roughly every couple of minutes. I tried all the BIOS updates and everything recommended by Dell. I even have a pretty decent laptop cooling pad with several fans. I read you can undervolt the CPU but didn’t want to risk voiding my warranty. I gave it about a week but didn’t have much luck. Definitely get the HP Omen OLED if you are looking for a solid gaming laptop. My brother in law has it and it runs most games at 60fps flawlessly and I will be purchasing it as well.
