I don't use this for gaming, but I did have my son look at gaming on it and he was impressed! I use it for photo editing and so far no complaints, I would buy it again, not sure how I would ever be able to not get another OLED screen..love it! It was quite a step up from any of my other laptops!! Live this machine!

This laptop delivered everything is promise. Very pleased with it so far and it's been a rock solid performer. I do digital graphics rendering and thos thing doesn't miss a beat. Would have had a problem purchasing at at the original price of over $1,800 but with the $400 discount it was a steal.

This is a great laptop though probably dated by now. It is really nice and the 4k OLED panel is amazing. I actually use it as a streaming PC mostly, but it has handled just about anything else I have thrown at it.

I couldn’t believe I have purchased this laptop for 1300 bucks. This baby screams with room to spare. Plays everything I need and between work and play. Best laptop for the money.

Been a great laptop for gaming! Playing games like dayz, rust, and even ARK at atleast 60fps. The only reason it doesn't get 5☆ is because its gets wayy to hot! You're basically forced to buy a good cooling pad with the g7. Thats literally my only complaint tho. And after setting up a nice cooling pad(like 30$) it works great.

Nice processor, graphics card, and enough memory for fast computing/gaming. Somewhat pricey.

I bought this gaming laptop for my son, so I can't say much about it except for how he expresses himself when he talks about his experiences with it. He absolutely loves it! He loves to play on it every spare minute he has. So happy I got it for him.

Really nice laptop. I've been playing Fortnite on it and it handles pretty well. There is lag only once in a while and for the sale price I paid, I'll take it. I do wish the refresh was higher, but seems to hold up pretty well. The only thing I wish was better is the charger -- big and weighs almost as much as the laptop. If you get this on sale, I think you can't do any better.

I got this Laptop for work. I work from home and have a lot of things open at the same time and also doing a lot of work on the internet. This Laptop can handle it all and not miss a beat. It's also very beautiful. Love the lighted keyboard. I highly recommend it.

I've had this computer for a few weeks. I really liked the 4k screen the quality is really good and the colour lights on the keyboard. but there are times the computer does perform as it should for a gaming laptop. not sure if it's just me that I don't use the right settings to perform as it should or it's actually the laptop. overall the laptop has been working okay so far.

This has everything you need to run the latest games. fast startup and load times. does run a little hot depending on the game. just make sure not to block the air vents. very happy with the laptop

This is a great laptop but it gets extremely hot while playing games.

A nice mid-level gaming laptop. Runs the new (demanding) Microsoft Flight Simulator quite well though a cooling pad helps. Also an excellent all-purpose computer. The display is 4K, which is overkill and causes some nuisances with Windows features. Be aware that this specific OLED display tech has brought back the dreaded problem of screen "burn-in". The unit that I purchased was an "open box" deal with a fairly good price, but I determined after a while that it was clearly a store demo machine, and on an all-white background at the right brightness level, I can clearly read the text from the old demo screen encouraging the reader to get an X-Box account. Fortunately the burn-in has faded somewhat in 3 months, but I would not have purchased this unit if I had noticed it right away (I thought I was imagining things during the short return period).

Love this laptop. It is fast, sets up easy, even after adding ICloud and One Drive access. Have one issue after a week with Nvidia that just required a one time factory reset. Purchased when $400 off 4 day sale. Other than that it has been great.

My son had a gaming laptop that was close to 5 years old so I surprised him with this new gaming laptop for Christmas. He loves it and he's not an easy one to please. For games it is super fast with great video as well. Highly recommend.

Like a lot of reviewers here, I purchased this laptop expecting decent performance out of it given the specifications. However, after using the laptop for several days, updating all the drivers, bios, firmware, etc; I could not resolve the overheating issues that plague the device. Any game easily pushes the CPU to its 100C thermal limit, which is a sure fire way of making this laptop implode in a short amount of time. Also, a BIOS updated related to the meltdown/specter exploits seems to have disabled undervolting, meaning there is likely no savior for this otherwise nicely built and spec'd machine. A shame.

This laptop is a wonderful device. The display as well as the leds make it a constant head turner, and even though it is a little bulky, the laptop feels like it would take a good beating before it would break. Overall, it is amazing!

The greatest draw to this laptop, is the screen. There is no substitute for OLED screens for contrast and color range. I plan to use this for astrophotography and the true blacks of OLED will make the photos true to the night sky

I wanted to keep this laptop but had to return it due to excessive overheating. I downloaded the latest software and took every appropriate troubleshooting step and it still overheated. Otherwise it worked well. If they fix that overheating issue this would be a definite keeper.
