I was in need of a new monitor to take advantage of the Xbox Series X and I have not had a single complaint after buying this. The colors are vibrant and display very well. I was deciding between this monitor and some others and I am satisfied with this. I did not want nor need 4k. 1440p and 120fps is a GAME CHANGER for consoles.

Great monitor. I use it for work and also to play games. The 1440p pairs well with my 3080 card. Has HDR, but brightness seems slightly lower when I watch movies and shows, but is so accurate and detailed. Also with the higher resolution, it seems easier on the eye. Less strain going for long periods of time for work and games. I read multiple reviews on multiple monitors while I was looking for a couple months. This is perfect for the new generation of video cards. I bought for 499, but got a price match from Dell website a few days later for 429. Very good monitor for that price. It may not be for the next gen consoles because it does not have HDMI 2.1, but I do not use it for that. It refreshes at 144 on 2.0. It has 3 display ports and one HDMI port. You can use software to control it, but the function on the back is excellent at changing it up to whatever you are doing. Working or playing games such as FPS or MMO's. There are preset setting for each. 3 different speeds for the screen MS time going all the way down to 1 MS response. 3 year warranty and build quality is excellent. Very stable. Can adjust height on it and also turn sideways. Very nice. I would recommend this to anyone that does work and uses their desktop for games.

Amazing gaming monitor! Will upgrade when I got hold of a 4k video card

This monitor is amazing. I upgraded from a 1080p TN Panel monitor and oh boy the colors on this are that much better. I do notice some ips glow on the top corners but nothing that bothers me. I would definitely recommend this monitor to someone looking for a 1440p high refresh rate monitor, its amazing.

I definitely recommend this monitor for gaming. The store rep was very helpful as well. This purchase was for our teens and they didn’t need the priciest monitor out there, but we didn’t want to buy the basic one either. This was a really good purchase for our needs.

Beautiful colors, excellent build quality, and easy to set up.

The quality of the screen while gaming is great, and having up to 165hz to play with is also great. The one downside for me—which may not affect or bother you at all—are the buttons they put on the BACK of the monitor. If you need to switch between inputs, like I often have to do (from HDMI to Display Port), then the positioning of the buttons makes it really annoying. There are 4 buttons on the BACK of the monitor and a little stick you can move around for navigating the on screen menu. The little stick is about 4 inches from the bottom of the monitor, and if you do not have access to the right side of the monitor—like me, because I have another monitor there—reaching up from the bottom to the stick is uncomfortable. To make the positioning issue a little more annoying, they have the ability to reprogram 3 of the buttons so they can do various actions, like a shortcut to changing an input source. HOWEVER, it doesn't work! I programmed one of the buttons to change to the HDMI 1 source, and the other to change to the Display Port source, but when you press them instead of changing the input source, it brings up the on screen menu. If I press the DP button a second time while the on screen menu is up, it'll switch to the DP input. However, the HDMI button does not work this way—I can press it as many times as I want and it'll just sit there on the on screen menu until I move my finger stressfully up to the stick and use the on screen menu to change inputs. I have other Dell monitors that have all buttons on the bottom right of the screen and I am dumbfounded as to why they chose to not do that here. The other issue I have is that the USB ports in the bottom left of the monitor, which are the only ones readily accessible, do not have enough juice to charge my phone. Again, other Dell monitors I have are capable of this, but this monitor that is much newer does not provide the power needed to charge my iPhone X.

He did not try to upsell me but did make sure I was getting a monitor that would be compatible with my computer. He also made sure to explain things so I understood. This monitor is amazing. Amazing clear qualities!

Appreciate the ability to adjust height and angle of the screen. Colors and resolution are great, Experience an occasional flicker on the screen using the display port input at 165Hz, but its not obtrusive enough to return vs the benefits. Would recommend to a friend.

Great monitor. Easy setup, customizable, great for gaming.

Okay so first, lets start with the HDR. This monitor states it's HDR Certified, and I personally would say otherwise. Not only is it HDR400, so youre not getting really that big of an improvement, but when you actually do have it turned on, the blacks turn gray, it over-saturates, and whites out the colors on the screen dependent on how many bright objects are there. If your screen is dark, it will drop the contrast entirely and make for a super poor visual experience. I kept the HDR off for the entire time I used this monitor, because there was better overall contrast output without it. If youre wanting HDR go for a monitor that is at least HDR10 Certified. There are a couple of LG Ultragear monitors that achieve this. The refresh rate is good, and the G-sync does help with reducing dropped frames. This is about a typical gaming monitor however the panel doesn't really output that great of a picture for 1440P.

Surprisingly solid monitor. I just needed something to replace my old screen and didn't think much of it. However, GSYNC and 1440p really step it up. The colors are displayed well, but you'll definitely need to calibrate. Downsides are the inability to raise the screen and the back leds are, in my opinion, unnecessary and a waste of power. I keep mine turned off. Overall, an above average monitor for a fairly decent price.

best gaming monitor i've ever owned. I wish I would have switched to 1440p sooner, been running 1080p for way too long. 1440p is the sweet spot. Dell has the best warranty on monitors and the picture is great the motion is great, warzone runs like a dream on here. highly recommend

A great universal 2K montior, especially when on sale. Best Buy price matched for $350 each. I primarily have used these monitors for work. Theyhave good color and uniform backlighting. I do have a gaming rig but haven't found the time yet to game on them.

This monitor is awesome to play pc games and over!

Good monitor. Have had very little issues with it outside of the random cases of it not registering as my main monitor or not properly displaying (so plug it in/out). All in all, it's great though and like the adjustable monitor stand.

GET THIS IF U CAN!! I got this on sale for like 379 and it’s insanely good. It’s pretty bright, 165hz is enough for your gaming needs, and it’s just good. Pretty easy to install too so that’s another plus. Personally, I can’t think of any cons for this and the price is just right.

I bought this Monitor for my laptop (i have the Asus M16 3060) and this monitor is great colors are very nice playing games on this monitor is very smooth. I bought this monitor for $329 on sale at Best Buy and I don't think you can get better than this for the price.

165hx and both Freesync and G-Sync compatible. A gamers dream. It is a powerhouse as described. I've had my x-box, PS4, and cpu all hooked to his for gaming with no lag and amazing detailed gameplay. Easy to set up. Also operates as a regular office monitor me when needed, web browsing, spreadsheets etc.
