Excellent monitor. Crisp picture, HDR, 165 hz. As advertised. Had it for about 9 months and now buying a 2nd one to have side by side.

The refresh rate & resolution on this is Awesome. This upgrade, along with a new graphics card bought in January, revitalized my gaming experience.

A crisp, bright monitor that seems to work well in all conditions. My previous gaming monitor (an Asus) was great for gaming but the text was fuzzy during normal browsing & office tasks.

I've had ASUS, Alienware and Acer monitors and this is easily the best one. Fantastic colors, brightness and clarity. Love it for playing games.

This monitor is everything I wanted in one. Excellent colors, plenty bright, very smooth refresh rate with no ghosting and no defects. The quality is excellent.

I had no problems with the picture quality, refresh rate, or response time of this monitor - its picture quality is awesome. The problem with my unit was that it would not automatically power on properly, either via DisplayPort or HDMI. After some time with no signal, it would require many, many presses of the power button to turn it on, and then after that, the on-screen display menu would not work. The power button did not seem to work except for a short time after it stopped receiving a signal, while the power button light was pulsating. When the button was pulsating, it seemed to respond perfectly with just a hover over it. However, after some time, the monitor seemed to power down completely and become unresponsive to my computer waking. The power button light would remain off completely, and seemed to almost completely stop working, even with extremely hard presses. I tested this with DisplayPort and HDMI from my computer, as well as through HDMI with another device. Both these devices previously would properly wake other HDMI displays. There is a discussion thread with many people discussing the same issue I had. Just search for "I have to power cycle my Dell S2721DGF every time I boot up my PC". Another review on Best Buy also mentioned "the power button feels like it’s broken". Because this is a somewhat known issue, and because I might have to move soon, I decided to get a refund for my unit instead of exchanging it for another one. I still plan on buying this monitor, or possibly another Dell, because this model is still the king for excellent picture quality at 1440p and 165hz. Hopefully the newer production runs for this monitor eliminate the problem I experienced, maybe even with a price drop soon. Or, maybe Dell will release a better model with some features that are missing (such as being able to handle a 4k signal). Overall though, I had no problems with the features or picture quality of this unit. Some reviews complained of backlight bleed, which I did not notice, though admittedly I'm not the most critical. I did notice the blacks were not quite as deep as my 4k TV when gaming, though that comes with being an IPS panel. The refresh rate and response time were excellent - at 165hz, I didn't notice any ghosting. While gaming, though I maxed out at 150fps, the image remained perfectly clear during fast movements. And though the monitor lacks speakers, I somewhat appreciate that if it means more of the production cost was allotted to the excellent picture quality. Overall, I'll give this monitor a 3/5 because of the poor experience. Had I gotten a non-defective unit, this would easily be a 5/5 gaming monitor for its price range. The aesthetics of the monitor don't scream "gamer" too much which is a plus in my opinion, though its blue lighting and curves on the base give it some character. Additionally, the physical build quality and material feel very premium.

The most amazing monitor at an amazing price. I took it off the stand and have wall mounted it and it is perfect. The quality is amazing and refresh rate is so crisp.

Went from a Aoc 27inch curved monitor to this and I was not disappointed, the color is amazing and 1440p res with 165hz makes gaming look very good

My thoughts on the Dell S2721DGF are wonderful. This monitor has such deep color and has a clear resolution at 2k. The 165hz is also a cherry on top!

Upgraded from a 60hz monitor, and HOLYYYY this thing is perfect! Super easy set up, came with any cable you could ever need, and the stand is amazing! I love it!!

Have the previous monitor and bought this as a second monitor (or at least to take over as the main monitor). Colors are great. Refresh rate works really well.

Quick easy setup, greatly reduced lag or latency, definitely improved game performance, color and resolution very high quality.

Excellent frame rate for an isp panel. Colors are vivid and the refresh rate is excellent. The rotations and the extra usb and extra ports help with the purchase price.

This monitor is excellent for gaming. Its looks very good. You can even change the hertz to your comfort.

Excellent Monitor!! I also bought a Ibuypower BB990 From Bestbuy! It has the GTX1660 Super and I could play Fortnite and get 180fps - 200 with Epic Settings and Shadows Off on my 1080p 144hz HP Monitor, I decided to upgrade and it was worth it! With this Monitor I Get 165fps on LOW but let me tell you, it still looks 10 times better then 1080p!! I can get 120fps with medium settings and shadows off! If I max out the settings I get 80-90fps! So Yeah Great Budget Graphics Card and Excellent monitor, in the future I will upgrade to a 2070 so that I can get better graphics! But for now this is Perfect!!!!

Excellent monitor for macs. The 165hz refresh rate & HDR 1440p is worth the investment for office/game usage.

This monitor is beautiful. Colors are so rich and pop making everything so lush on screen. Very bright and fast as well. Dell has delivered with this monitor.

I came from using 2 S2716DGR I purchased in 2017. This is truly a gamers paradise. Using with AMD RT 6800 XT video card. AMD freesync pro is fantastic although it also supports Gsync. The level of detail with HDR turned on (using windows 11) is just fantastic. Great build quality. I was able to price match even AFTER buying the monitors first. Thank you Best Buy.

Excellent monitor, was able to get it on sale at the $350 price point and not disappointed. Have been using it for gaming for the past month and its been working wonders not only in terms of visuals, but also less strain on my eyes. Also, after a few days of Calibration the best settings I could manage for the RGB were 90% Red, 87% Green and 100% Blue, these settings were able to get rid of a reddish tint I noticed with base settings. Overall, no brainer if on sale, off sale I'd say still a good purchase.
